iOS Browsers Comparison (August 2013)


Today we publish our second comparison of browsers for iOS. Previous version from the August 2012 can be found here. Since our first comparison our rating system has changed. Browsers set has changed too: trial versions of browsers were removed and some browsers were replaced by another. Results of all browsers and comparison of the most popular browsers are given below.

Results of the most popular browsers: 

Basic(file size, price, language and iOS version support, etc)


 Features(tabs, downloads, history, synchronization, traffic comperssion etc)


Performance(results of different benchmarks like Peacekeeper, Sunspider etc)


Final results


Our winner is Safari, the only one browser with access to faster Nitro JS Engine. Then goes Puffin because of high perfomance results due to cloud computing. Atomic is third.

Windows browsers comparison (August 2013)


Windows is the most popular operating system now with wide choice of programmes, so we can not neglect it. Today we present you results of our browser comparison for it. Results of all browsers and comparison of  Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari and Opera(Chromium and Presto based) are given below.

Linux is widely used in different areas and one of the most popular distribution of it is Ubuntu, so we have carried out comparison of browsers available for that operating system. We have analyzed market share trends by different companies from 1994 (2009 for Russia) to 2013.
Here are presented only five browsers, which are important our days: Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari and Opera. Such browsers as Mosaic and Netscape are not included because they are discontinued now.
